This is my 4th Sangin, and maybe my favorite so far. It still feels like a tool, but the bracelet makes it feel a little bit more refined. Quartz movement keeps it accurate but durable, and the micro-adjust clasp is such a perfect touch.

I needed a dressier watch than my EDC, a Sangin Overlord. I wanted roughly the same overall size and thickness, no larger. The Neptune fit the bill. In actuality, with the bracelet, it rides very comfortably compared to my Overlord. Not too heavy, not too thick. Love the winder stem at 2030. I use a diver bezel often if available on a watch. Clean, simple, snazzy, precise, rugged. The Neptune checks all the boxes for me.

The Frogskin sticker hits with pure old-school grit. Slapped it on a case and suddenly everything felt more official, like I should be issuing orders or at least squinting at a map. Print and texture are excellent, and the camo pattern just feels right. If you want a little heritage without wearing actual fatigues to the grocery store, this is the move.

This thing is peak “I’m here but not here.” The Anonymous sticker has that perfect blend of mystery and attitude, like it’s judging everyone but in a supportive way. Quality is top-notch, sticks to anything, and makes me feel 12 percent cooler every time I see it. I recently imported the Overlord (Brushed) to Europe, and it was absolutely worth the customs hassle. This watch is a reliable workhorse. The brushed 316L stainless steel case gives it a raw, bad-ass aesthetic, and I love that it perfectly captures that military vibe without necessarily having to be completely blacked out. I’m a huge fan of Sangin watches and the costumer service to back it up is second to none. I hesitated to buy the Overlord VIP, concerned it would be slightly smaller than I’d like. I was wrong! The Matte finish is better than expected. It is very well executed and should wear well. I like the crown facing 8 o’clock so that it minimizes catching on clothing and irritation on the back of a hand with extreme hand positioning. View ability at night is very good. Excellent strap. Stiffer than I thought it would be and stiffer than I thought would be comfortable, but it is very comfortable, I forget I have it on, and it’s seems ultra durable due to it. Easy tia just and take in and off, it’s my preferred strap. NATO style. Great design as well.

I like the Atlas II bracelet, but there are 2 minor issues— 1) The safety clasp doesn’t seem to close completely, and I’ve been finding it open regularly, presumably from catching on things/clothing. 2) It would look much cleaner and more tidy if the end links had the fitted veneers to match the curvature of the watch case.

Picked up the Decon hybrid rubber strap because I was tired of pretending I’m careful with my gear. This thing is built for real life. Sweat, saltwater, gym funk, dog walks, bad decisions, whatever. It rinses off and keeps going.
The comfort surprised me. It wears like a NATO that did a semester abroad and came back more put-together. Secure, flexible, zero drama. My wrists aren’t fancy, but even they noticed the upgrade.
