Installed two 100 amp/hr group 24 smart batteries, wired in parallel, in the space limited electronics/battery compartment in my 2013 Lance 1050S. Awesome upgrade! Ok I have multiple Power Queen 12-Volt batteries. I recently changed my inverter to a 24-Volt system. For a 24-Volt system it is hard to find a better value for your dollar than these batteries. I am slowly adding capacity to my backup system. These batteries have performed perfectly and after 6-months of use I have had zero issues. I purchased the premium (instead of regular size) because I wanted to put a shunt in the battery box of our pop up tent trailer. I also added a 50A breaker and replaced the wiring to the (new lithium compatable) converter/charger with 6 gauge to allow for faster charging (20+ amp). The weight difference between my AGM and new lithium is incredible. So much easier to install in my boat and the performance of the boat on the water with the reduced weight is amazing. This is the best setup I could have added for remote usable power un my car. I run ham radios and often need remote power that lasts a while. I am hooked up to my radios ans have a 1000w inverter connected as well. This setup allows me all day and night of operation.
