Ordered and set up a year ago, I was legitimately surprised to come back and see negative reviews at all. Enclosure took less than half an hour to assemble and was relatively easy. I’ve officially had this enclosure since 02/24/24 and honestly my beardie has been thriving so much better in this enclosure compared to her old black PVC one! Love the brightness to it! I didn’t write a review right away. I wanted some time to see how the enclosure works. The enclosure was very easy to set up all the parts were there. I was able to go online and find the videos for the Zen Habitat’s to show the correct lighting in different ways to put them in. I use it for a bearded dragon who had outgrown his 40 gallon. It is really a beautiful set up once you get the decor and everything in ,really pretty ,sharp looking. I am very pleased all the way around.

The only thing that annoyed me setting this tank up, was, it seemed like it would be partially assembled, and then you’d just have to snap a few pieces together.. that was not the case, I had to actually build the entire thing piece by piece. But that’s a very slight inconvenience.

Overall, very high marks. Was easy to assemble and great responsive customer service. The only thing I might suggest is to increase the front lip or add a slightly higher lip in front of the door rails. I use a finely ground walnut shell substrate similar to sand. He gets to moving around and it gets into the grooves for the doors. When I ooen/close the doors, it pushes it out from the groove and onto the floor. I have to vacuum, every other day. Our dragon loves his new home. First day he moved in, he started eating his salad from the bowl instead of having to be hand fed his greens. I don’t know why he made the sudden switch but, I assume it was his way of telling us he approved his new home. Setting it up was a bit frustrating for myself. Just the facts. Very well made. The walls are thick and sturdy. The top screen is strong, cas have no chance . The sliding doors were 1/32 to 1/6 too tall, had to sand them. They work will now. Putting it together is just as easy as the video's show. You do need the rubber mallet. They have a hard time keeping them in stock, that shows how popular they are, but waiting a month or two is hard. Will I buy it again. YES. I am looking in to buying two more.

I do wish it came up higher like with the substrate barrier for the 4x2x4 but still worked out holding in most of the substrate without it falling through the sides! Great tank! It is enormous, and assembly is pretty easy. Just requires a good amount of banging to get the pieces together, though I'm glad because all of the joints are nice and tight. I have moist substrate and need high himidity, so I sealed all of the panel lines with silicone before using. That is the only tidbit that some people may need to consider, and it is a very easy fix.

I had issues with the acrylic doors meeting the corners of the enclosure however, as it turns out the table I placed my enclosure on wasn’t completely flat so it caused a slight bend in the frame which prevented the doors from closing. Once I moved my enclosure to an actual flat surface the doors closed like normal and my Beardie Doug loves his new enclosure. Will purchase again for my next pet reptile.
