This device is working so well and I love the fact that you can have time available displayed at the convenient window. The lock capability keeps from accidental channel changes. I catch local news and other talk radio while at work to stay atop all the headlines and breaking news. This is the absolute best ever portable radio I have owned in my entire life. You can use this statement in whatever way you would like because I stand behind it 110% !!!!!

got this to fix the volume control on my wife's transistor radio that had belonged to grandfather. the volume was very scratchy and was either full on or off. a couple of sprays with this stuff and now it is as good as new.

We bought this lamp on a total whim; didn't know if it was really what we wanted or needed, but it's finding a spot in our living room. It's kind of fun to play around all of the color patterns, although we usually just leave it on a "non-moving" solid color, as our two cats get a little weird when it's pulsating in any fashion. More often than not, it's on a warm orange setting, as similar as we can get to a soft white light bulb. We do enjoy it, it's a fun piece.

Very pretty tree with tiny LED lights, just as pictured. Power can be either battery or from a USB device (cable supplied). On/off switch is nifty capacitive sensor -- you don't need to press it, just touch it lightly. Note that lights stay lit steadily, they do not flicker, twinkle, or pulse.

While my primary use is AM radio and the weather channels, I love it. Just the right size, reception and clear sound is excellent. Very easy to preset stations. I couldn't get the auto scan to work, but perhaps I was doing something wrong. Manual station selection was very easy to use, and since I set all of the stations that I want to use in memory, I don't really need to use auto scan. The radio appears to be well made. The future test will be to see how long it last, but so far very very goo...

This setup is a great solution for your older classic or restoration car when you want to keep the original AM FM radio but also want some kind of aux audio input to play your ipod or xm radio music through. Be sure to order the audio jack cable with it so you can basically run audio from anything that takes a 3.5mm plug. It's a 12vdc powered relay that bypasses the outside antenna when switched on so it can transmit a low power signal directly to the car radios antenna input.

What a terrific surprise. The size, a little larger than a credit card and slimmer than a Clif Bar power snack. Slips right into my shirt pocket. The sound, full and bright and clean. This radio is amazing. It's extremely compact, yet very sensitive both on AM and FM. I love the fact that you can tune it accurately to a station. And having presets is great. The tone from the built-in small speaker is what you'd expect; it probably would sound great with earphones.

The radio far exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately, I decided to cut off the attached lanyard strap before reading the users manual which indicate that the strap also served as the FM antenna. Regardless, I am sufficiently impressed with the radio that I will probably purchase another.

Always good to have a new tip available for fine desoldering work. I needed one to replace an amplifier module in a 1980's stereo receiver. Cutting the old leads and heating and removing them one at a time resulted in a clean solder pads and an easy module replacement. The receiver works perfectly again.

I have has this set before, and a friend broke the smallest one; hence my order of a replacement set. But I have one "beef": Radio Shack used to offer sets of precision screwdrivers and nutdrivers in matching plastic cases. It is the precision nut-drivers that I cannot find anywhere. I work on 1950s-1960s Japanese transistor radios, and precision nut-drivers are a MUST. THANK YOU!/
