The shipment of this device actually arrived before I thought it would. I have my TV, Wi-Fi, and TV Receiver all plugged into this "AC Line Stabilizer" (as I like to call it). I know there are always spurious Voltage glitches that appear on the incoming power lines, therefore, it is a good idea to filter out as many of those glitches as possible to prevent them from entering any electronic equipment that a person is using.

I have a lot of Radio Shack Radios and the parts in the Radios are very good. Reception is great far away radios stations. I also have Weather Radios which you might like when the weather is not good.

This is a newer model of the same radio that I remember my grandmother had for emergencies. I could have chosen the digital version (maybe I should have for easier use) but this radio is exactly how I remembered and anticipated. I live in an area that often has power outages and can keep up with news radio and alerts. It's compact, reliable, and exactly what I wanted. Thank you, Radio Shack, for continuing tradition!

This battery tester works very well. At first it didn't work, but since all the previous reviews rated it 5 stars, we thought there was no way ours would be the faulty one. We had made sure the contacts were correctly being made and the AA battery was positioned with the positive terminal pointing down. It still didn't work. As a last resort, we thought maybe the needle was just stuck, so we gave the unit a good bang on the table, and sure enough, the needle was free. It works just fine!

Radio Shack prototype boards are the best! I've used these for many Arduino prototype projects and can never have enough. The traces for +5 and GND are all preconnected making it really convenient for powering any size DIP device. These boards are also very easy to cut-to-size compared to fiberglass - I've done many projects with both and prefer the Radio Shack proto-boards.

For a relatively inexpensive radio, this one has very good sensitivity, selectivity and (because it is digital) frequency stability. I bought one a few months ago, and another recently to have as a spare. The only negative is that sound from the speaker is poor - but is very good with earphones. As a warning, use only stereo earphones (two contact connector) that do NOT have a microphone. Cell phone earphones (with mic) have a three-band connector and will not work.

I've used these for many years and don't recall but maybe 1 (if any) that failed in my projects. I sought these out over some I found at other sources that were reported to be more flimsy. These are great so long as you get your iron on and off. Don't hold it on there for a week or it will melt. Common sense. I like these for a decent switch that isn't in the tens of dollars.

I was wanting to put a battery powered fan on my "little buddy" portable heater, because most of the heat goes up instead toward the area I needed heat, nobody, that I could find, made such a fan. I found a fan that I could make work, but I needed to mount battery(s) to run the fan. the "D" cell battery holder worked perfectly. In my opinion the "little buddy" heater is good, but by the addition of a fan, now it is great.

Very good small radio, fits in pocket or under (long) sleeve. Easy to use and set up pre-sets etc. Should come with its own ear buds or head set, but I found one that worked.

Great radio. Build is a little light, but that's a common gripe I have among all the newer sets I've seen on the market. Well worth the sale price. Seems sensitive enough. I actually like the analog dial, but I'm a bit of a Luddite at times. Get one for your storm kit.

This is a good radio. Mine has a tiny bit of buzz at no volume, but it's not noticeable with sound up. Customer service told me this is normal. Seems sensitive enough. The build could be a little heavier but it's on par with everything I've seen on the market in the last few years. The shirt itself is exceptional, which you would expect of the brand. The print process sucks a little bit… The print is rigid instead of flexible, which doesn’t necessarily make it the most comfortable shirt I own, but it’s retro cool.

I was impressed with the sensitivity and the radio’s ability to pick up week stations with just an antenna in the hand strap. It has nice sound especially with a good set of ear buds.

It is a really nice radio. The plus side would include good reception, good looks, nobs and switches all work well and has an ok sound. The minus side would be just one speaker behind the nice stainless front, it’s okay for talk and news but could be a richer sound for music. This is not quite up to par with my decades old R/S model made in Japan not China. I don’t want to be anti China products but it does seem they have taken over many many products and markets.
