This is basically only for human body temperature. I like the fact that it uses common batteries, and that it is sealed so that I can wipe down the whole thing with sanitizing wipes. I liked it so much, I purchased three more: one for each floor here at home, one at work, and one for prechecks at Scouting activities. I try to check my temperature twice a day, and have never had an issue with the units. Once it did flag a high temp after I came in from doing work outside ... I'm very happy w...

Unlike the headset radio total failure, THIS product IS a complete success..... "well done for the Radio Shack service" -- and the product has kept all of its promises too. I say again, be sure to vet prior to purchase.... I suspicion that this re-invented Radio Shack has allowed some crap to sneak by and up for sale. This radio is a reasonable purchase, I would do it again if a need arose.

The Berrcom infrared non-contact thermometer was everything I could have wanted. Set up and use of the product was intuitive as it only required the insertion of two AA batteries, aiming at wrist, face, or head, and a press of the trigger. Not only was the temperature readout fast and accurate but consistent. It was well worth the purchase price and proved an ideal replacement for my old glass fever thermometer.

Arrived fast enough. I’ve ordered batteries (AAA,AA,C,D,9v)from other venders before trying to get ready for Christmas and the other vendors never showed up. Thanks RS for prompt and accurate order. The batteries I thought out performed the Top name brands. I used less RS batteries than the name brands. Super Good Batteries. I will be getting more and you should too!

A nice addition. Base is wonderfully heavy. Park this thing and it stays put. Rubber feet add to the stability and also make a little space underneath for that paper note you don’t know where else to stick. Magnets are insanely strong. Don’t get a finger under one. Also worth noting is that the Radio Shack re-emergence is a most welcome development.

I'll be honest, I bought this because it looks so nice (and Radio Shack gave me a great price). I'm impressed by the sensitivity on FM, AM and the ham/shortwave bands. Even the built-in antenna really sucks in the signals - W1AW in Connecticut comes in strong here in California. While not as flexible as a true ham receiver, it is absolutely useable on the ham bands along with a little home-brew transmitter.

For and inexpensive clock radio this one is pretty darn good. Whether it will hold up remains to be seen. It has all of the features that you have come to expect and has nice large numerals, making it easy to see with your glasses off. We may actually buy another.

The keys respond just right for my touch preferences and really love the volume control upper right corner along with audio control buttons that didn't need driver to be loaded on windows 10...The price was little high but glad bought it....Liked it so much bought 2nd one.....

This antenna pre-amp worked great. We were having problems with a weak signal from a transmitter that is about 40 miles away. After installing pre-amp we now get clear reception. Also we have two televisions and a two-way line splitter the TV at the far end of the coax run started getting many more stations than it was getting before.

I really like this flashlight. It is very bright. It almost turns night into day. It has the ability to narrow the beam and it can also dim the light and it has a strob light. It has a far reaching beam. Also, I wear the Radio Shack shirts and people ask me about Radio Shack. They believe that it is no longer in existence and I inform them that it is alive and well on the internet. They are happy about that and we talk about memories of Radio Shack from years ago.

After plugging in the charge cable, I pressed the power button. The speaker immediately powered up and went to pairing mode. It showed up on my iPod Nano's pairing screen, I tapped the the speaker name (Q10), and off I went. Very failthful sound reproduction. I'll be trying the speaker with other devices, but so far, so good.

The President McKinley is a very nice small radio. Small in size, but not in features. I was suprised by the front firing speaker. It is small, but it sounds very good and allows for a forward throw rather than pointing at the floor of my truck. All features have worked well and the learning curve on the digital menu is pretty easy to pick up. All in all, I am very pleased!

I love this little radio, which we got mainly for the fact that it is rechargable in case there is a power outage due to a storm, but I have found it quite useful as an every day radio. I can hook my cell phone to it and listen to music, or the radio either one. I recommend this radio for everyone.
