The first impression was not great as the packaging was torn when the box arrived. However, the dough was great even though it took me a while to control its elasticity. It baked very well in my normal electric oven at 250C. The result was excellent. Next time could be a 5 Star review- if packaging is sound.

I have never had much success making my own pizza bases from scratch so to be able to assemble pizzas using high quality, professionally made bases is an absolute treat. I keep the bases in the freezer. Because they are nice and thin they defrost quickly and I can put a delicious pizza together in no time. The end result is amazing and tastes like pizza served in a good quality restaurant.

I have had the plain bases and the filled bases and they are fantastic. Decided to try the dough balls as I wanted to make calzones. Absolutely gorgeous!! Dough is easy to work with and the calzones came out perfect. Used a pizza stone to get a crisp bottom. Husband said it was nicer than any Italian restaurant version he had had.

I'd probably go for a 4.5 rather than maximum five but hey, I'd rather try to be positive than err on the lower. Cooking instructions seem slightly off as I suspect they're based more on the base by itself rather than the likely toppings which obviously need to be cooked and require longer than what's stated. I have had the plain bases before which are great to create your own pizza but sometimes you just want to wack one in the oven. Recently purchased the topped bases (2x pepperoni 2 x margarita). Only tried the pepperoni so far but the toppings were very generous, the base was perfectly thin and crispy (used a pizza stone) and the crust was stunning. Will definitely be buying again. £30 for 4 pizza’s. Totally better than any take away and a fraction of the price.

Great dough - shame about the packing. The box arrived like a pile of cardboard sheets - It was really only the insulation wadding holding the pack of dough together. That's the 2nd package I've had that's not really survived the journey. I think you might need better boxes....

These pizza basses are off the scale good. They are so delicious and easy to make. We all love them and will be reordering. My advice would be to really squeeze the mozzarella to avoid a soggy bottom! Better than our local pizza place and £3 per pizza base. Also seem quite healthy.

Fantastic customer service from the team to have 20 bases delivered in time for my Wood Fired Pizza party. The bases were excellent and the pizza's tasted delicious. In fact we had a few left over and froze them. Since we have used them in the normal oven (only takes 1-1.5 hours to defrost). Highly Recommended !

I wasn’t sure about this as, let’s face it, it’s £3 a base and it doesn’t cost that much to make but having tried it I have to say it’s worth every penny. For a start, finished product right there and then and no mixing, proving etc. plus, it’s sourdough and that is even harder to make.
