3 days into our Ireland trip and wificandy has been such a lifesaver!

Great idea. I was unlucky, the device was delivered late and took too long to activate so I lost two days work. Once set up, it was fine until it ran out of charge…now. It is on permanent charge in my laptop which is also on mains.

Wi-Fi worked great, but the battery kept dying very quickly. Sometimes it would just simply disconnect from all devices and our phone provider took over the coverage. Now I have to pay my phone company for international coverage because of constant Wi-Fi disconnections. But for the most part, it did its job, my family was glad we had it with us. Thank you.

The WiFi works as advertised; very easy to use and on very rural areas as well!

Great wifi all week for 4 people!!!

Unfortunately, the battery did not last long enough between charges a became a nuisance. I just defaulted to my cellular carrier at a slightly higher rate and found wifi where available.

Would use again.

Seamless pick So far works flawless

We had perfect experience 2 years ago with portable wifi from WifiCandy but this time is somewhat different. We couldn’t get it to recognize the password and had to email for help. Taking out the battery and SIM card and then putting them back in fixed the problem - temporarily. We have had to do that procedure every day, sometimes twice a day to get it to keep working. It’s been a different experience than our first rental which was absolutely flawless.

Work’s well when it is charged up. Ours loses charge quickly and left us hanging. Had to pay for a day of cellular data so we could get the GPS working. Now we have it constantly charging so we don’t get stuck! But when it is working it connects and works great!

This was a great option for us. Worked very well everywhere we went!

I like the wifi but it would not charge with the charging cable provided. I had to buy a new cable and am using that instead.

It’s been great to effortlessly stay in contact, use google maps driving directions, and post photos.

Easy pickup and dropoff at airport. Worked great all trip.

We loved the wificandy. Absolutely no used worked great for the entire two weeks we traveled through Ireland.

My experience with using the Portable WiFi from Candy Wifi was average, at best. Definitely, not exceptional. When I traveled around Ireland, I had good connection on major roads and major cities. But on some outlying areas and smaller roads, I had NO SERVICE. Also, it constantly went into disable mode and I had to reboot the device to get service. I would NOT recommend it.

Great all-around. Easy pick-up and return and solid service throughout our journey.

Week long trip all around Ireland and this device surely made a difference.
