I used to have a similar weeder, but the handle was wood, and eventually it broke where the handle met the tool head. This one is made out of metal, and very substantial. It's a little heavy, but good for building arm muscles :) If I had any complaints it would be that the tool came in 3 parts that screw together, and sometimes they loosen up and have to be tightened. Overall I'm extremely satisfied.

I've tried flame weeders, which are incredibly satisfying, and great for seedlings, but certain established weeds just spring right back. This tool really gets the root out. It can be difficult to center just because it's hard to see exactly where the center of the weed is, but that's the hardest part. The Weed Snatcher (Crack and Crevice Weeding Tool) arrived 4 days early. It came with easy instructions to attach the two interchangeable heads. I tried it out on my sidewalk which has both wide gaps and narrow gaps. It worked fine. It takes more than one pass to get the runners from the weeds and grass but it does a fine job.
