I bought this for my daughter as a Valentines Day gift because she has always had an affinity for monarch butterflies. It was an amazing experience. When she went to release the butterfly it landed right on her hand and remained there for quite some time as she whispered a lengthy wish to it. At the exact second she was done speaking it fluttered off. We captured it on video but regretfully I couldn’t convince her to share it

The chrysalis made a beautiful gift and the butterfly emerged just in time for the birthday girl to make a wish and release it on her 18th birthday! Just as the caterpillar became a butterfly that day, she became an adult. It was a special and meaningful gift and I enjoyed giving it as much as I hope the birthday "adult" enjoyed receiving it.

This is my absolute new favorite gift. To give and receive. It’s so magical getting to watch the transformation from cocoon to beautiful butterfly. It awakens something inside that makes you feel so happy and connected to nature m. It makes you wonder and question and get to learn so much. It is truly a great gift for absolutely all ages.
