We had a blast crafting today! Check out all the cute finished products! We had a lot of requests for a Thanksgiving AND a Christmas project so be on the lookout for an event later this month and one next month!

Been over a month since I posted any projects made with my awesome 6550 with upgraded 80w & 32 bit board. 😁 Here are some new items I just finished up for the Holiday Craft shows...

I’ve had a big project going for about a week. A friend came to me with a patio table base that he wanted a top made for. His wife wanted a family tree. This is what I came up with. The table is cherry, the frame is black walnut. The table has an eighth inch epoxy pour on it and the frame was oiled and waxed.

First time someone wanted to pay for a project 😂. For her hair salon, 20" x 27" sign for the front door. On pine with 3 coat twice applied thick varathane.

Latest project on my 6550 w/ 15w laser. Speed/2800 power/22.5%. About $8.00 in materials. $.97 for the round blank, $6 for the clock works (manipulated to run backwards) stain and clear coat.

Jim has been very responsive and helpful. I'm an early adopter of this new 100W CO2 laser offering so I expected I might need to work out some kinks , but based on past customer service experience with Yorahome, I had the confidence they would be there for me, and they have gone beyond expectations!

This weekend I will be doing pieces showing what “TRUE LOVE” really looks like. Today the pieces deal with couples who have shared a life time together and understand what love is. This pieces also show that time does not erode or weaken the love two people have for each other. So, let get started on our journey of “True Love”

Cutting board I made for our daughter in law. This one was fun she wanted dark letting as well as the image. S/285 P/ 70 Lpi 385. On to the next burn.

I’m starting to build up my inventory for the Christmas craft market. This is a bamboo cutting board, used the 6550 with the 96w upgrade (2300 mm/min at 25% power). One coat of butcher block conditioner and it’s ready to go!

I decided to do some "playing" with engraving some mirrors. This is an interesting technique as one has to make sure that the lines are thick or they cannot be easily seen on the mirror. Also, it is tricky trying to photograph a mirror so as to not get the reflection of the camera.
