I have one of the original Honda Racing Team PVC puffer jackets from the late-'80s/early-'90s that I wore all the time. I decided to retire the jacket because it was old, and the fabric covering the elastic at the base of the jacket started to split and you could see the elastic through the coat. Also, I'm 5'9" with a normal build and bought a Japanese large which fit like an American medium. I made it work forever because I loved the jacket.

This is a cool, well made jacket. Others have said they had to Size Up, but I disagree- I had to Size Down to M from L.
I am otherwise a 44R, 5’7” 185. The L was still too big and the M has a slim fit close to your body. No room for a sweater, only t-shirt or light weight hoodie. The jacket is lined with a light insulation and nice detailing!

Fit is small so you really have to order a size up.
For tall persons over 6 feet tall, another inch added to the coat and sleeve length would be appreciated.
The plastic shipping bag is a little on the light side. It was ripped somewhere in transit and someone in the postal service took the time to patch the bag. The garment bag and the jacket however were untouched.

It is an excellent design, very pretty to look at, I love it, the only thing I can criticize is that it is easy to get a scratch on it, it should be a little more resistant for the price they have, but hey, that doesn't mean I take away a star I give it 5 anyway, I'll buy another one when it gets badly scratched.

Very nicely made! Medium was a good slim/athletic fit for a 41/42" chest jacket size. I would want to step up to a large if I'd wanted to wear it over bulkier clothes though.
