Make sure you follow directions and wind the butterflies correctly. But they were wonderful and then the engineers in the group had to rewind them and set them off again! Add money and you have a great gift.

I loved the idea ! Very hard to wind them, put in the card and not have them unwind and get them all in there. I bought them for my childhood best friend and her sister to wish them a Happy Mother's Day. Their Mom passed last year, and as she passed one of the last things she said was OOOH BUTTERFLIES, then Jesus.

Enclosed one in a birthday card for a 13 year-old boy. He got a big kick out of it! And spent most of the rest of the evening winding it up and "flying" it around the house. It was a nice surprise when I niece opened the card ,but the butterfly's were to cramped up I put 3 and the card was just to small I did not take the time to evaluate it before time would be nice if they were just a bit smaller, butterfly's were bent so they sort of worked out 1/4 of it , but my sisters loved it and wanted more
