I ordered one pack of 5 and unfortunately only one butterfly was delivered. Customer service was good to send me the remaining butterflies that should have been in the envelope. I put a butterfly in my granddaughter's birthday card and she was really surprised and enjoyed playing with the butterfly afterwards. It flew OK, and we realized with more winding it worked better. First, I loved to be able to help save monarch butterflies. I had to find a magnifying glass to read the instructions. The print needs to be bigger. Finally, the butterflies popped out in your advertisements so nicely. It’s misleading to the chaotic and often non flying experience my grandchildren found.

These are really cute to include in a friend's special day card. They really do not fly off very high more of a straight line trajectory. Also probably could only reuse a few times as they do bend rather easily. But for a nice surprise, they are pretty.

These butterflies are a lovely idea. They would be even nicer, and easier to fit into a card if they were a bit smaller, and some of the designs and could be improved, but overall, a really nice idea!

It was fun. Not as dramatic as had hoped for. The videos with reviews gave more realistic expectation. SLO mo promo videos make them look like the fly longer and wider. I found with the bats, at least, winding them 50 times was better.

These are as described - colorful and fun! I had no trouble with the two I tested - wind up was simple, and they flew every which way. The flight path, direction, and speed vary a great deal and is unpredictable. That’s part of the fun, but was a problem for me since I was planning a simultaneous, multi-flyer, surprise indoor release at a family gathering (including little ones). My granddaughter contracted HUS (hemolytic uremic syndrome) from raw milk when she was 23 months old. These are cute, and did surprise and delight the opener in my case, using 4 flutterbys in one card (secured by two colored paper clips, so they would all open up at once, rather than perhaps fall out of the card one by one). My only negative is that the first one I opened needed to be strengthened with scotch tape to secure the paper wings to the plastic frame. Without this step, that one flutterby wouldn't have worked. All the others so far are A-OK

While it is cool they fly out of a birthday card. They really don’t fly as far as what I saw on the Facebook video. I wound it as tight as I could.

i bought these for my daughter in laws for their birthdays in July, so i cant wait to see their reaction. i tried the one a couple times and it works a little better to do 36 winds rather than 30. but they do fly.

The butterflies are really colorful. You really have to wind them, and it can be difficult to get into the envelope. The first time is really fun. They get weak after a while, but worth the initial surprise. Thank you.

It's a cool idea for kids, teens, and young adults. Don't think it would be a good idea to put it in elderly cards or gifts, as it may be a shock to their heart. It comes out so fast as a '"SURPRISE!" It is a good quality product, has beautiful colors, and supports a cause.
