I truly wanted to love this pillow. One side of it is soft, fluffy fabric on the outside. I bought the polyester filled option. The other side of the pillow is a semi-soft cotton fabric. It's very attractive. The big downside is that the fluffy side is actually quite stiff, woven on something that feels like it might really be a carpet. It is not a pillow to cuddle on, but for looks only! Very uncomfortable to rest your head on, unless you like laying on the rug.
