This is my first time wearing pants like this. Interesting and practical, I need to get used to them and try wearing them with a base layer or summer pants, maybe they will stretch out!? I have a narrow waist and athletic legs, so there is a lot of free space in the waistband, but my legs are comfortable. It would be nice if the waistband could be adjusted with straps at the back or if the side straps could be made to tighten the waist more easily
