The biggest reason I bought this was because you could use it on yourself. And I’m teaching my young grandchildren how to use it, which is the easiest method I could find. I hang it low in the kitchen so anyone can get to. It seems to work fine thank God I haven’t had to use it in a real circumstance.

Have the original yellow one which was very difficult to compress. Got one of these and after receiving it and putting it together, playing with it, it was so easy that I bought another one to give to my mom who lives by herself now that my dad passed away. Highly recommend it!

It’s not requiring a battery that I have to keep up and make sure that it’s charged in order for it to work. NovaCare has created a device that has the potential of saving many, many lives. I had a question about how best to store the device (compressed/armed versus UNcompressed/UNarmed) and got a very prompt reply back from Sam in customer service. (The device needs to be stored UNcompressed/UNarmed!) It's not very common any more to receive such a great product, with even greater customer service, but NovaCare definitely does both - it's a GREAT company with GREAT customer support!

I noticed my last review is not noticeable, but that is okay. I finally received the product, my husband was upset but I told him it was a small price to pay for insurance that if we choke we will be safe.
