I have a question: in the box that the unit came in there were two sizes of masks and also 2, 3" clear platic tubes. Having elderly parents with dentures that don't always have them in, can be dangerous and sometimes accidents happen when you're alone. Having this is a definite peace of mind. Even got one for my place for when my wife or I are home alone. The suction on it is strong and fast and the fact that it can be used one handed and compresses easily for multiple uses is fantastic. Probably going to buy another set for work n travel. Worth the prior what it can do. Highly recommended.

I have almost choked a few times and have been alone. I now feel safer having the NovaCare in my home. Obviously I cannot tell you how it works because the situation has not happened, but the facemask fit is tight and the procedure to deploy is simple and can be done if you are alone. I ordered four NovaCare one button choking rescue devices. One for each of my grandchildren's households and one for mine. The devices arrived in good order.
I spent a few minutes with each of my adult children and their spouses practicing the use of the device. It is a very simple device to use. The spring-loaded plunger reduces the possibility of errors using the device.
The device rapidly develops a very high vacuum.
I pray none of us ever need it. But, better to have it and not need it than...

We bought the other style that you had to do the suction yourself and we still have them. I look at these as just an updated version. The older version will still work but the updated version will work better. Could you sue the older version on yourself? Maybe but Im not risking my life or anyone else's life in my house on a maybe. The updated version will work much easier on yourself.

I feel better knowing I have this device. I have Parkinson’s and sometimes have trouble swallowing. I’m alone a lot so I needed a device that I could operate myself. Even with one damaged arm, I can still operate it by myself. I haven’t had to use it yet but I tried it on my hand and the suction seems to be very strong.

We love the product! I trained my autistic 7 year old how to use it and he wasn't afraid of it, which is a big win. I was coughing on a strawberry and he ran up to me and asked me if I needed the de-choker and I said no, but I still coughed a lot and he kept watching me and asked me a few more times.
