My hair has always been wavy and frizzy- if I wanted a “polished” look, I would have to straighten it completely and it took forever. I didn't want to use strong chemicals to loosen the curl pattern on my daughter's hair. I wanted to also be able to revert back to her curls with only water applied. I love it ! I followed the instructions exactly I washed my hair the day before with the shampoo included in the pack . My hair is coarse and frizzy so I left the treatment on for 60mins and made sure it was absolutely saturated with product . I actually thought this product worked exceptionally well without the traditional chemical effects of other at home keratin/Brazilian hair straightening treatments. I have 2B/2C hair, long, medium thick, not dyed. I never wear my hair wavy and I typically have it blown out or air dry and then flatiron it so occasionally doing a keratin treatment on it takes the time out of styling it (usually an hour from end to end). I've never had an easier time straightening my fine, 4c hair. The movement i attained in my tresses after using the ANSWR kit (combined with a straightening brush on 360 degrees and some great heat protectant) was pretty phenomenal. My only qualm is that I wish it held against moisture more strongly. But, for 1/3rd of the price of a salon visit for a similar treatment, I would say it was definitely worth it.
