I switched to the Loco after using another power paddle... and really like it, but wanted something in my quiver with a just little more oomph. The Shogun is great because it fulfills that need for greater deflection, but also offers the ability for pretty incredible shaping, especially on whippy topspin drops at greater pace... it really keeps the ball down. Strongly recommend if you consider yourself an all arounder.... leaves little to be desired, wherever you are on the court.

Started my pickleball journey with a beginner set from Amazon then got another paddle from Gearbox at Dick’s. They did the job fine. When I decided to get the Filth from bread and butter, I knew I was in for a better paddle. The Filth’s weight and grit makes it a perfect paddle for my play style since I like to apply a lot of spin but also like to hit those hard smashes. I can’t be happier with this amazing paddle.

This paddle has a great balance of power and control. It has improved my soft game tremendously. The only con I have is that the factory grip wasn’t my favorite. It started to slip in my hand during the first use and felt thin. However adding a simple moisture wicking over grip solves that issue. Overall great paddle!

I've been using this paddle for about a month, and it is my first high end paddle. To say the difference between an entry level paddle and this is minimal would be an understatement. The softer feel but with the same power and pop is really great. I feel like have the control I need and as a player that loves to spin the ball and hit hard it is perfect. It's easy to write off overgrip as being "all the same" but, having used products from 3-4 different providers, I can definitely say that B&B's is the best! I don't like my overgrip to be too tacky, but also not to simply be a smooth "2nd layer" of grip. B&B's feels great in the hand, with "just enough" tack, but still some movement/adjustment of paddle when needed in play. VERY happy with this product and will order again.

As I mentioned before I really like the “Filth” paddle but now that I’ve gotten the “Shogun” it’s even better I’ve more pop due to the Kevlar mix surface the control is very good and my spins are even better so I’m very happy with the Shogun I’ve thought of getting the “Loco” but the 2 I have will do me good on the courts they are my “Bread and Butter” lol 👍👍😎

I’m loving my Shogun! I normally play with a Joola Hyperion Swift (with lead at 3 & 9 o’clock). The transition to my Shogun is seamless so far. I feel like there’s instant improvement to my dinking, 3rd shot drops, and resets. I don’t feel like I need to add lead. The Shogun is a little top heavy though. I have slight tennis elbow, and can feel a some pain when hitting aggressive overhead smashes. Overall, I am really enjoying my Shogun in warm and sunny Hawaii!

I love this paddle!! It took some getting used to because I hadn't used an elongated paddle before but now that I'm dialing it in it's fantastic. I love the power and how easily you can transition to a soft dink. I'm between 3.0 and 3.5 and feel like this paddle elevates my game, isn't too much paddle and is easy to control my shots. Highly recommend it!

Great paddle so far. Getting the proper compliments on the court due to its dope color and not being just another matte black T700 paddle face. Liking the weight, mine came in stock at 8.2oz no need to lead tape the mystical edge guard. Still adjusting to the pop, hitting a few "balls deep" but adjusting over time. Spin is near a top tier paddle. Time will tell if the titanium weave holds its grit or is just a marketing ploy. If I need to add more titanium I thought about rubbing my Titanium iP...

Love the new Shogun paddle. A step up from the Filth in spin control and power, which I attribute to the titanium weave. Took me a couple of games to adjust but once dialed in plays incredibly. As an added bonus it looks amazing. I haven't seen another paddle like it. While it's never a problem finding my paddle in the stack others are always wanting to play with it. Honestly I can't blame them it's that good!

I love the control and touch on this paddle. It is very smooth for controling the dink and resetting shots. Drives feel well controlled and not a lot of vibration through the handle. Only thing that would make it a better paddle would be to increase the sweet spot to help reduce the mishits.
