I got the Loco because I needed something with more control without lacking spin for doubles play and I was very impressed! I tried multiple control paddles such as the Luxx, Scorpious and the double black diamond and this paddle definitely wins in the feel category! Plenty of control when up near the kitchen, but has enough power and spin for nasty serves and drives! Once my Selkirk power wears down I definitely want to try the Filth, and will stick with the bread and butter brand!

Coming from a standard shaped paddle with a shorter handle length I felt that the longer handle really gave me more reach and more whip on the ball. Didn’t take much to get used to as well coz eventhough it’s a 16mm paddle it felt like it gave me the power of a 14mm but with the control of a 16mm. Ended up with Silver, and we performed well against a much better/younger Mens Doubles team. Have had the Shogun paddle for several days now. Have played many demanding games, and hit tons with the ball machine. I am very fond of my BnB Filth paddle, but was interested in the poppy/plush feel of the Shogun. I am a former Joola Hyperion player. Loved the plushness/ control but was looking for more juice. Put succinctly: this performance shirt is an apotheosis of perfection. Not sure I have worn a better shirt playing pickleball. I started off as an average dad on the court and turned into a paddle wielding Samurai! The packaging and design of this paddle are the best on the industry plain and simple. The paddle itself performs well as more of an all court paddle in my opinion. It just does everything really well, feels great, is forgiving and has a large sweet spot for an elongated paddle.
