I found that the marker works well but you must wait a while for it to dry first. I drew the sketch first with pencil. It was important because the marker is invisible until heated.

I use the stencil for the butterflies and the rose and the big marker did not work well for the butterflies because it just ran because they were so. Close together so I ordered the smaller markers from you guys

This project was done by paint pour skins. Glued on with makers magic on squares of wood, then placed in a frame. Glued them down with makers magic. Finally put two coats on to give it a lovely shine.

Wanted to try this product as a waterproof alternative for some of my painted hand bags projects. Works great! I love the sheen that it give , differently than similar sealants. Worked well with acrylic, but did not work with all ink pens and would smear after sealing, I ended up sealing with regular acrylic spray seal and the a coat of Scorch to give it the same beautiful finish.

I have a love hate relationship with this product. I loved what I made with he small round samples that came with my scorch marker kit. The color came out wonderful, dark and the tone was even. However when I tried it on Oak it didn’t seem to get dark enough. I tried a lighter wood so the color stands out but I had some bleeding. I did sand it off and tried it again and it was better but still slight bleeding. I will definitely keep trying it on my projects but it isn’t quite as easy as the vide...

I really like the scorch marker. It would have been helpful to have instructions on prepping the marker for use, but it was simple enough to figure out. Plus, I would like it more if there is a fine point tip available.

It was really as simple as opening the marker, priming it on a paper towel, drawing out our name, and heating it with a heat gun! Make sure to saturate the wood you would like to darken, so it is even :)

I work with many different mediums, and I can see this working well with them all. It was easy to apply, being very thick and smooth. The brush marks softened up and just disappeared. I can't wait to work with it more!:

The marker made it alot easier to create a burnt brand on a customer's boards. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was I had issues with the tip staying down and not pushed back in the pen. Definitely will use again

Took more than my 1000° heat gun. Had to use a torch, but the finished project for my address sign for the front of my house. No more “I can’t find the correct address” issues. This project used less than one marker which I was amazed by considering I felt like this project was too large for just one. My husband loves it! I will be ordering again! I really love the marker, I still have some technique to learn but this is a game changer. My aunt passed away a few weeks ago, and a group of her friends made spruce tops in her memory. Not sure how I feel about this project/product. When the heat gun is hot enough to activate the chemical to burn a pattern it's so hot it burns the area around it and makes the wood look dirty. I did some clean up with sandpaper and I'm still not thrilled. It's my first time using it, so I don't even know how to do it next time so that doesn't happen.
