I did not have any luck with the scorch marker, It didn't darken like advertised. I was really looking forward to making crafts with this product, I will practice more but don't see it as being something I will be purchasing in the future.

I was so excited to get this marker! As soon as I got it, we tried using it on a sample piece of wood. I had to put my heat gun almost directly on top of the wood. Is there a trick to it? I simply wrote a word. My heat gun ended up shorting out and you can hardly tell its scorched. Very disappointing.
