I do like the Scortch marker. Their previous formula works great with very little if any bleeding, but the new formula (as Scortch Marker has stated) is not supported by their marker tips, so this does cause quite a bit of bleeding sometimes. It does burn much better though! Overall I truly enjoy using them!

I used my Cricut to make the stencil for the word masks. I used a dark wax on the sides and edges just to add a little character.

I used Stencil Mask vinyl from 143vinyl to create the words that are burned with my ScorchMarker. I used my Cricut and permanent vinyl for the colored words.

The new pens seem to have better billet tips, but I’m not sure if something changed with the liquid... needs several coats to get a nice burn.

So much better than ModPodge for the things I make. It dries quicker and doesn't have the tacky feeling after it cures, which is only a couple of days!! I do a lot of acrylic painting and will continue to use this for all my projects!
