This is the second order I've placed with My Outdoor Dad this year. I'm EXTREMELY happy with both. These are such unique personal gifts. If you want to genuinely touch someone's heart, I suggest this idea. They are so unexpected and original. Also keep in mind, the picture doesn't have to be related to hunting or fishing. He was able to take this buck this year and when he opened this gift Christmas morning, he couldn’t take his eyes off it! He plans on displaying in his office when he opens his law practice! Bought a medium wooden backed image of my buddies deer from a Maine rifle hunt this past season. This has a bit of a story behind it, the rifle he used to harvest the deer was his Pepe's .30-06. Note this is the first time he has every hunted with this rifle and hasn't shot a deer in many years. And on top of it, his Pepe's ashes were spread along the hill side this animal was harvested on. All in all just a cool concept, service, and product. The picture I provided was a bit dark, so I think it could have turned out better had I done a better job on my end lightening it up and cropping it better. Picture could be centered a little better on the wood, but I’m nitpicking bc it’s still a very cool gift that my Dad loved.

I think the process is unique. I like it very much, but the one thing I would recommend is to have a coat of finish put on the plaque if you do not have the ability to do so yourself. I believe it would make the plaque pop a lot more.
