I’m really surprised how thin and lightweight it is, which does mean you can layer it anytime of year. It’s basically an easy way to add more pattern, pockets and a hood. Love that there’s pockets on both sides. I did have to tie the ends because even with my shoes they were on the ground. I’m 5”4.

Oh my gosh!! I was excited to get these, but then chickened out and felt like they were "too much" for me to wear without looking silly. (Even though I LOVE seeing all the pics of besties wearing theirs.) I compromised by getting a solid black tunic, and ended up loving to wear them. I get so many comments--one of my fellow teachers told me she'd seen something similar on a fashion runway. The pants are super comfortable and very forgiving!
