A 1500 model saved my vacation last summer when my kind neighbor up north used it to start my dead battery. I just bought two of your 2500 model after watching U tube product reviews. Each car has one. I no longer need my two sets of jumper cables! I can now offer assistance to other people, which is what they will be used for. I had jump started two neighbors cars using my old jumper cables, prior to your units arriving. Your devices are so much easier to use!

I was wanting to write a review because I'm very happy with my Trek Pow . I won't have to worry about keeping my devices charged. Mostly everything we use takes power to run nowadays . I wish it came with and 12 V adaptor for CPAP machines . I haven't had a chance to use it out on the wilderness yet but I'll be doing that very soon. I just received the new TrekPow Car Jump Starter, TJ2500. This is their newest rollout for large gas and diesel engines. I brought this high end model for emergencies with an 8.1L Volvo marine and 6.2L Turbo diesel truck engine (among other smaller needs). At first impression the unit is very solid and well made with simple operation instructions. It's indicates it's water resistant which I believe based on the design since all the input/output ports are protected by a waterproof boot (see pic)....

Bought the TrekPow TJ2500 because the old battery on my 1985 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel was showing signs of end of life with gradually slower cranks when starting the engine. Then one day turned the key and nothing. Dead battery. Put the alligator cable in the TrekPow and got the blinking Red/Green LED as should happen. Arrive on time and nicely packed. Having peace of mind knowing the booster pack will be handy when needed. It is small enough to be portable and feels solid. I'm going to use it as a portable power bank for phones and other devices while not using it as booster. Having USB-C is future proofing the investment too.

I had a Trek Pow G22 that quit charging and contacted the customer service department. Answered in a timely manner and resolved my faulty charger by sending me a replacement. This company has an amazing customer service department. I ended up purchasing several more chargers. Definitely recommended.

This is an effective jumper unit, so much easier to deal with than old heavy lead acid units. Comes with nice hard case. But there are a couple of negatives. First, to charge a totally dead battery, you have to engage an override button which has a 30 second timeout. Their smaller G22 jumper does not require this. In a tight garage you have to squeeze from front of car and get it cranking within those 30 seconds, or reset unit. Too much trouble. Second, it is important to me to be able to power ...

I live in Canada and it can get quite cold here in the winter. We have 3 vehicles so mine usually sits out front not plugged in. I had to boost my vehicle 4 times this winter and my Trekpow 2500a booster pack did not let me down once. I boosted my vehicle 4 times and a friends vehicle once and it still says full power. I bought this through Amazon and it is a very good product, and I take it everywhere. I live in New Brunswick where it gets very cold for a good five months straight and this battery is always ready to go. If you drive any car, whether an unreliable beater to the newest NSX. Have only used this item 5 times so far each time in order to start a 2 litre bmw diesel engine with a battery so dead that not even the interior light would come on neither would the ignition socket hold the 'key'. Hooked up this item, tried the starter. Turned over the engine once. Reset the battery box as per instructions (didn't need anything like the recommended 30 seconds wait before re connecting the leads) then tried again. Engine fired and ran but stopped after I disconnected the leads....

Unit worked for a few weeks; now it won’t charge. All chargers shut off when you plug it in, including wall chargers, 12v car chargers, Quick chargers. I have many and they all shut off! Chargers that used to work fine now, shut down as soon as this is plugged in.

To be completely fair...The jump pack did fantastic the first time I needed to jump off my GMC Sierra V8 truck. However, after recharging the pack and storing it for a few months, I decided to check the charge. None of the battery indicator lights would come on so I figured the unit was completely dead. After trying to charge it with multiple chargers and cables we've determined that the unit is completely dead. The unit was purchased in August of 2019 so almost made it 10 months. :-(
