This product delivered everything I was looking for in A camo for my boat blind. Excellent color And adaptability. I chose to layer evenly around the blind with each color so depending on the surroundings I could pull the darker raffia through or leave the lighter exposed . I will be brushing in two more blinds very shortly and I will for sure I use J Stern again .

Super impressed with this grass. Love the price and the quality. It’s very easy to tie on and it looks great. Just make sure you mix it well beforehand. We used a 2x4 hung between 2 ladders to mix. Love how it doesn’t blow away and how it breaks up all of the edges and corners. Highly recommend.

Im very happy with how these turned out this is almost 22lb. 11lb of wet lands 11lb of natural. Will be doing my A frame blind cover next year. To finish off the concealment I did in the opening of the A frame.

Just got done grassing my Beavertail 2200 blind on the Lowe 2070. Can't wait to hunt it. I sure appreciate everyone at your company it's been a pleasure doing business with you guys. I originally ordered 33 lbs. but was told that I might be a little short so I ordered another 11 lbs. and it turned out great. I will absolutely be purchasing more in the future. Thanks again for a great product 👍👍👍

This stuff is great! Very strong when attached to a blind properly and takes some serious intention to break. I dressed my 1458 Jon boat custom blind with all 33lbs of “Winter Weather” including sides, front and rear curtain, and top panels. I’m sure you could stretch it much further, but I went the more thorough and thick route and am beyond pleased. I did misjudge the colors for my environment, but this raffia took some darker rattle can matte paint like a champ to tone down the blonde colorin...

I separated all the colors and took a pinch of each to make a bundle that I tied in a half hitch knot on my stubble straps. I went a lil heavy at first and had to skimp near the end and steal some from original bundles I applied first. Your better off laying down a thinner layer overall and then going back and adding but overall this stuff is amazing. It does expand a little when wet so keep it off your waterline of your boat. I might even order some more to experiment with trying to make some v...

This is a 16 foot mod jon with custom made blind. Used wetlands camo 33 lb kit, it’s pretty thick in most areas of boat and still have some of each color left. Gonna make a curtain across the stern to cover opening and engine. Time consuming to put on but looks great! Def will buy again.

We had plenty of materials to cover the boat with the quantity suggested by J Stern. Had plenty left over to fill in the more sparse areas. Started by added grass every second loop, staggered the layers like bricks to maximize coverage. Then we filled every loop going from the top towards the bottom to have a fuller effect. Very happy with the results. Buyer beware: J Stern used UPS to ship to us in Canada. The brokerage fees were a bit high. USPS doesn't charge those or as much in my experienc...

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of raffia grass. The quality is great and the installation is really easy. The only detriment is I read a few reviews and only purchased 22lbs. vs. the 33 lb recommendation. I highly recommend purchasing 33 lbs. for a 16 ft. boat blind.

Only 1 complaint, there has got to be a better way then all wrapped up in a tangled up mess. I need 1-2’ bundles that I zip tie on my layouts. So the twisted tangled bundles are a real headache to use. Other than that I LOVE the stuff!

Package Arrived fast, the bundles of grass was wrapped neatly, the grass takes a long time to put on a blind but it is worth the time and effort put in, looks great when it's finished.

Used 66 lbs total but I have a pretty big hard sided blind and I wanted it on fairly thick. Used dark marsh and cattail mixed and cut lengths into thirds to help break it up more.

Just grassed in my 17’ TDB. The old canvas blind had to be replaced. New blind needs new grass! Looks great. Love this grass and was easy to tie on.

This is an awesome product. I purchased 11# for my Tanglefree Panel Blind (with Flip-Tops) before the Fall 2021 season and the grass is holding up great. I zip-tied small bundles onto wooden clothes pins in order to clip onto the straps and am able to cover the blind by myself in less than 10 minutes. GREAT STUFF!!!

I'm not done brushing my blind with the rafia grass yet, but this is where im at currently, it's very time consuming and is also my first blind in doing this with. Dunno if I'm even doing a good job or not. But this is the best place w/best price on rafia grass in this volume. Strands are bundled in a way that makes it easy to work with. Save this site because there is no need to get this grass anywhere else. Great price and fast shipping.

Love this grass. We have used it for a few years on a frames and decided to use it on layouts this year and it’s great. About 8 lbs to really cover and tanglefree layout blind. Will definitely buy again in the future!

I wasn’t sure this was the way I wanted to go, but I am glad I did. The natural is a little lighter than I expected, but I plan on adding some darker bundles to it in the near future. I ordered 11 pounds and still have one bundle left to use.

Little messy putting it all together, but I found a technique to speed things up. So far, I'm loving how nicely this covers my boat and the dimension/depth it provides.

Didn’t get a picture of my blind when I got done but I can’t say enough about this grass. Always steered on the side of saving money and cutting my own natural brush for layouts, a frames and other blind. But the time, sweat and tears you save with this is unmatched. Not sure I’ll cut brush again

Really helps adding that extra layer, I personally use a lot of natural veg but this cuts down the process drastically. Super quick to ship after order was placed. Arrived three days later

33lbs of classic on an 1800 beavertail. Perfect amount of grass with some left over. The dark brown was more of a red than brown IMO but nonetheless turned out great

Love this grass. I’ve tried quite a few others and over time this doesn't fray nearly as much or curl and get all tangled. I wish I would have started with this grass.

I used this grass on my kayak hunting blind, my duck boat blind, and on my layout blind for goose hunting. It was shipped quickly and the grass is incredibly durable and easy to tie onto my gear. Highly recommend using this grass. It can also be spray painted if it looks too bright or doesn’t fit into the surrounding areas you hunt. Thumbs up for sure and I have also given some to my friends to use - they love it too.

Bought 33lbs of the single color grass had a little bit of gray left from other boat. Plan to use spray paint to blend it in to the swamp grasses I hunt in.. 18/60 boat with full custom blind plus 5, 2’x3’ top cover panel's covered with 33 lbs. strong material, will last many seasons.

22lbs was perfect to cover a beaver tail 1600 on a 1448 mod v. Used a net to cover the blind, and weaved the grass into it. All in about 5 hours.

Installed on a SeaArk 1652 with a Drake Ghillie Blind. Ordered the 11 pound pack but only used about 1/2 of it for the look I wanted. Once I figured out how to work with the grass, it was very easy. Overall, very pleased.

Ordered 22lbs for my Beavertail 1600, was just enough to cover the blind. 25lbs I think would be the sweet spot for that size of blind. Box was damaged heavily upon delivery. The grass works well and conceals the boat great.

Grass is stronger than I expected and seems to have high tensile strength. Very happy with the color combination. 33# of Dark Marsh covered my 13' blind plus motor cover and front deck on a custom build for my 1860 Prodigy.

I bought some from tangle free, and I was extremely disappointed spent pretty much the same amount for 5 pounds with tangle free as I did for 11 pounds with Joseph Stern, the strands from tangle free were much thinner and shorter

Great stuff. The website recommended 33lbs for a 17ft boat so that l what I got. By the time I was finished, I was able to box a little up for touch up late. The colors are great and the material appears to be very durable.

I’ve been using your product for years. My go to in the Arkansas timber and Tennessee marshes is the black, gray, and cypress rusty brown grass perfect for the area we hunt around Reelfoot Lake. Natural looking and just blends in perfectly.
