I have had my Ermes "Charlotte" dance boots for a year, and wear them regularly to Heels classes every week. Unfortunately, the heel tips have rubbed down a lot at the back, so I am quite unsteady on my feet. Heel protectors came highly recommended by Ermes, so decided to get a pair. A little background.. I've been taking Heels Classes for just over a year (started via Zoom and continued when my studio reopened) and always wore relatively low 2-3" block heels. As time passed, I felt the need to step up my game and opt for a professional boot with more ankle support and a slightly higher, thinner heel to improve my technique and further my progress. They've just arrived, I am soooo in love with them! I ordered them for my wedding but I plan to use them by then (because all new shoes end up hurting your legs the first few times). I've also bought the heels protectors but I'm unsure how to put them and also they don't really make that much noise as they are, so unless I'm in the need of a slight wider heel base then I might not put the protectors.
