I've loved experiencing these awesome fidgets for the first time! The dentist kit had most things I wanted to try so I went with that - I didn't need it for the dentist specifically. It would have been cool to choose the colour of the finger spiky, as it's invisible on the black of the inside of the tin (it's also black). As an adult I was extremely self conscious about my sensory tools. So I ordered this kit in early December for my 2 year old to gift me at Christmas. I really love this fidget ball, it’s amazing. Has become my go to stim. I always have it on me, either in my bag when I go somewhere or in my pocket for easy access. I wear a wrist spikey all day everyday. I love it. The pain input is very grounding and focusing, I find it good for coping with feelings of anxiety and stress. I like to weave it between my fingers and make a fist. I also like to hold it and run my thumbnail down it. Wanted to get this to help with distracting myself from picking at my skin/scalp because I thought it could potentially offer that same sort of feeling that resolves from small pain to relief/satisfaction.
