This was around my gear lever in my car until my car broke down. I made sure I kept it with me before I sent it off for repairs as I didn't want the mechanics or tow truck driver pinching it. When I was driving, I really enjoyed being able to reach down, pulling and tugging on it. It could be improved by making it longer and putting more marbles in it.

This is a great subtle fidget, I do find it soothing. I have a few thoughts for variations - I don't think it needs to be so long, a version with 6 beads would probably be just as effective and a bit more visually appealing - I also think you could make a version on a chain rather than the string to make it look a bit more grown up.
