The Kalimba is wonderful. I had a wooden one before, so it is heavier in weight as well as lighter in tone in comparison. I don't like the tone as much but I am getting used to it and started to enjoy it after some more practice. It looks really cute and wonderful, especially in sunlight. They came with space-themed stickers. I really loved it. I think I need a flat, wooden Kalimba for songs with more "dark" tones to it, and use this Kalimba for more angelic and light sounding songs. Ordered 21 key walnut Kalimba with resonator. Item is stunning, very well made, packaged well, tuned perfectly upon arrival. The sounds incredible.. The sound is almost too good, as it rings for a very long time and can muddy the notes. It would be cool to see a damper that lays across the tines and dampens the sound for shorter, clearer notes during fast phrases, with the ability to lift it like on a piano. You could add a lever or a pedal mechanism and hide it inside of the resonator. Would be...
