My golden 15-tone, D-major steel tongue drum arrived 9 days after I ordered it, all the way from Shenzhen, China, to northwest PA, USA. The curved tines make playing feel smooth. All the tines ring clear and sweetly to my ears. The oval shape of the kalimba feels comfortable to hold in my hands. It was wider and heavier than I expected, but this is my first flatboard kalimba and the weight and measurements are stated in the description, so it can be checked. I LOVE the cat shape! I am glad I found a flatboard kalimba with a cute design.

Amazing kalimba with a beautiful sound! Love the build quality and the minimal design. It really seems to have a character of its own. It arrived before time and came pre-tuned. The only issue I ran into was the tines being full of smudges right out of the box. Not sure what could have caused that or if it was specific to this unit. But thankfully, rubbing some isopropyl alcohol with cotton balls solved the issue and I could get them shiny again. Just a minor inconvenience.

The drum seemed very nice and sounds as it does on the web as advertised. The macramé side cover is well done and the carrying case is a huge bonus. It is extremely well constructed. I did order purple however and as you can see from the photograph it is navy.

This is by far the best sounding Kalimba I've tried so far! And I've tried many models and brands. This model is the only Kalimba with the highest notes actually playing. Very nice, melodic, wind chimes like sound. Nice and smooth edge keys that won't break your nails! Very nicely made with high quality materials. Smooth and pleasant to hold and play. I will be getting another one so I can have it in different tuning. Very highly recommended.

I love my new Seeds kalimba. It’s looks and sounds beautiful. Every key is smooth and easy to play and they all resonate for such a long time. Even the end tines sound lovely snd have resonance. It's my first Kalimba and I am absolutely in love with it! It's so beautiful and the sound is great. The only things I didn't like is that it doesn't come with a case and that the stickers are bright red and blue (It's just not that pretty so I used a nail laquer in a more subtle colour to mark).
