I love love love the quality, and how well it fits on my horse. I refuse to buy anything but Nz tack because of this. I wouldn't say my horse is a rug ruiner, but he does put them to the test. Thought I would try a NZ Tack cover after reading the reviews. With 2 horses needing the same size cover but being very different shapes, I had my fingers crossed. I was impressed by the coverage and ability to easily fit the straps to suit each. They have been snug and warm during this horrendous weather. Very pleased with both the service which was quick and easy and the product.

Was a little apprehensive at first buying a cover as I had not dealt with this company before. All the reviews I read did not answer the durability of the covers in heavy rain and cold weather. You guys rock! Not only did I receive the new cover almost 24hrs after ordering, you went lollies as well. Dusty who is nearly 30 got his new winter cover just in time for the crappy weather. Really pleased with these they are peace of mind for days when the weather has no idea what it’s doing and they work really well. A lady I barely know messaged me to say she’d seen my horses in them and wanted to know what I thought of them. All I can say is I highly recommend they are brilliant.

Big smiles from Magic having a new rug!! I love the bright colours and reflective stripes, means I can spot her in the dark when going out after work! A couple suggestions though, the stitching on the back straps where they connect to the rug needs to be way stronger/reinforced as she managed to break one in 24th s and has broken 3 with NZTack rugs in the past! :-( also, (and this is more of a wish) having quality elastic back straps would stop them from snapping with “rough rollers” lol. Great covers! They fit really well with room to adjust, I bought 2, both 4.9s, meaning they fit both boys quite well, one being a tb the other being a chunky cross breed. Seem to be quite durable and waterproofing has held up very well, love the colour. Customer service is AMAZING 🤩 honestly love all my nz tack rugs that’s why I keep coming back 😊

I have this rug for both my boys, it’s perfect for this time of year (autumn) when it’s cold at night with the average temp during the day of about 14 degrees, the weather is also very changeable this time of year (I live just out of Dunedin) so I feel very happy knowing my boys are protected from what ever the weather might be.

He didn't even try and bite me like he normally does when I put this cover on. He must like it. Really like the good quality clips etc. He's got some room to move in it. As he's 16.3 and very long, it's good to find a cover that fits him well.

I have three different sized horses and 4'9, 5'0 and 5'3 fit them all perfectly. Love the quality, fittings and the generous neck rug but it's the chest clips that sold it for me! Not a fan of buckles and the clips make it so much easier to whip on and off. Love these rugs and will definitely be buying more from NZ Tack!

Arnie is very pleased with his new cover. He can easily run around with tail lifted in full Arab style. He struggled with this in previous cover (as shown on paddock mate in background). This tail flap isn’t too heavy. Arnie also had issues getting clearance when going to the toilet. These issues are now gone. Cover has passed the roll test and 5 days of down pours. Arnie is a very happy horse and I look forward to replacing all my covers with NZ Tack covers!
