Lovely rug. I love that there is a year warranty on these rugs so if you have an issue you can be refunded or the rug will be replaced! This is an added bonus and means that you can trust your ponies will stay warm and dry!! I love being able to support NZ businesses and my horse loves her rug.

Just tried it on for the first time and it looks good. Buddy had a good roll and its supposed to pour with rain overnight. We'll see how well the cover stands up to life under some testing conditions over the next little while!

Brought my boy the 50g duke cover with detachable neck. Easy to detach the neck cover with the metal clips for those warmer days. The 50g Keeps him warm and dry on wet cold days and is good as he does sweat with anything heavier, his coat always has a lovely shine when removed Love the two tone dark blue and black

The coat got here in very good time. It is well designed and is very easy to put on and take off and also fits my horse very well--there is no rubbing on her shoulders like with her old coats. The coat has now been through all kinds of weather and has worked as advertised--it keeps her warm and dry and she doesn't sweat in it. I'm sure if my horse could talk, she'd say she is thrilled with it!

I bought two of the light white fly sheet combo's. The fabric is much much lighter than what I expected and due to that my horse had put a decent sized rip in it within the first hour. The other cover has not ripped to date. In hindsight, I should have got the mesh combo that is stronger and more durable. Less likely to rip. Because it's mesh the tape I used to mend the rip won't stay on as it doesn't have much to adhere to with the lightness of the fabric. Personally, I would recommend this...

Have gone up a size to 5'3" from her normal 5' which has given her more room in the shoulders. It is doing a great job on a 30 year old horse that overheats very easily.

Wow, what a great buying experience and an excellent quality product! When you see a rug at $NZ79 you wonder about the quality, BUT this is a fantastic quality product that has all the 'bells and whistles' (concealed Velcro chest strap with clip, surcingle's, leg straps, and tail cord). Beautiful feel, colour and finishing make this a super product. Quick delivery, well packaged and fits perfectly!

Fantastic service, product was dispatched the same day I purchased it, even after a phone call to change sizes. Very polite. Extremely happy with the product, my horse hates covers and gets extremely hot, but with a major fly allergy happening, this is perfect....doesn't hold any water so she doesn't get wet and cold.... plus she is Clyde/Friesian cross so a chucky chick at 16'2 and a 5'3 is a perfect fit! I wanted a strong, waterproof but light cover that I could leave on through rain, and all day if I needed to. This is perfect? It keeps my old mare dry and is windproof. A great price for a good quality rug. Love the clips at the front and all the quality velcro. The 5.3 is perfect for my chunky cross bred 16hh mare. Recommended

Great rug, very light weight which is perfect for this kind of weather (along with the waterproof mesh combo on the other horse!!). Would recommend sizing up if you have a chunky horse like I do, the front just fits on her with the Velcro! :) otherwise very happy

I got these two 100gram covers for my two boy's. SamCash is the bay TB who's in his 34th year now and wanted to keep him warm on the cooler day's in Taranaki. I also got him a 200 gram one too. Jack is my Quarter horse even thro both are different shape,sizes the covers fit so well and I don't have to adjust them as sit well on my boy's too. Cover seems good, the only thing what was wrong so far with cover was one back strap was so badly stitched all together that wasn’t able to adjust it and use it. Lucky I had with me old strap.

Great rugs they fit really well on two very differently shaped horses. I've been using Tack Shop rugs for almost 5 years, with my first one lasting 3 years and my mares 18months (and i only got a new one because my niece fell in love with the pink one haha).

I thought I'd try something like this as I've just had back surgery and I'm unable to do the basics for awhile and didnt want to cut my mares beautiful long mane which tends to get knotted , this has kept her mane and tail so beautiful for over a week without a brush, a real winner and might have to repurchase again!
