These are different from what I'm used to. They are very soft. The shaft has no stiffness but I like that. It makes them easier to put on since there's no zipper. And most boots rub my ankles once they start to break in and wrinkle at the ankles from walking. So they're nice, so far so good. They are pretty comfortable for this type of boot, which aren't ever really comfortable to begin with. All in all, I like the way they look, just tighten the strings at the top to keep them up correctly sinc...
