Our dog was still afraid of the unit as foreign device. The furme was quieter than all other clippers and did a fantastic job. The clippers being attached to the vacuum was wonderful and no mess to clean up was a blessing. I recommend this animal grooming setup for anyone that wants to stop paying for expensive grooming. I just love the Fur Me for the ease of use All the attachments snap on and off so easily. The hose is flexible , I wish that feature was on my regular vacuum for the house! Maggie is Australia/German Shepard mix. Thick, curly hair with an undercoat. So hot outside, I decided to give her a trim. Started with the brush vacuum and worked her over good. Emptied canister like 8 times. She looked and felt alot better! Next the clipper vacuum with long hair attachment. It worked great and gobbled up her hair! I'm not kidding, worked awesome! Brushing her is challenging because of the amount of fur that attaches to everything as you do it, but the vacuum allows me to brush her without creating a world of fur around me. I have 3 Papillions and when I trim them I get fur everywhere. With this vacuum/clipper system the whole process is much nicer since I don’t have loose fur flying everywhere. Also, whether clipping or brushing, the dogs don’t get overheated since the vacuum creates a cooling effect. I do wish there was a smaller brush attachment though since my dogs are so small. The brush that’s available is perfect for a larger animal but very difficult to use on a petite 5 lb pet.
