The Bassets and Dachshund don't mind the sound. It's great when I'm clipping the Dachshund down as it sucks up the hair as you go. The Bassets shed horribly and this is a godsend when stripping out their coats as well. Haven't tried it on my cat yet. Have that in the nearby plans!

I have a German Shedder, I mean a German Shepherd! We are constantly sweeping and vacuuming the entire house. The day my Furme arrived that all changed! Although it wasn't as quiet as a refrigerator as advertised, it was still very quiet. Even on the highest setting, it's not that loud. I have a GSD who sheds constantly. I used the FurMe on him and he just stood there and let me use it. The amount of fur that I got off of him was amazing. I loved the deshedding tool and he must've too. I would definitely recommend this.

I gave the original brush for my dog a five-star rating, as we were so happy that our Siberian Husky was losing MUCH less hair in the house! When I saw the notice that a new brush for long-haired dogs was available, I immediately ordered it. Not only does my Husky look slim, trim, well-groomed and appears to feel so much cooler in the summer heat, we have so much less shedding in the house! If available, I would give this a 10 star rating! This brush makes so much difference!!!

I have 6 standard poodles and grooming cost every 6 weeks was about $700 sometimes more and that's not including 20% tip. It actually cuts very well the only downside is the blade part that the guards hook onto comes also. So we have to stop and put it back on. So if some kind of warranty with that problem would be nice also I haven't checked if available but a larger tank to hold the hair. I have to dump at least 5 times per dog
