College kids home for Christmas enjoying s’mores and heat. What a creative idea! We were very surprised at how much heat these put out and how high the flames got. Once we figured out that you have to keep the lighter on the little squares until they eventually light - these were great!

S'Mores on the 16th Floor! My daughter and her college roommates decided it was safer not to travel home for Thanksgiving so I sent them several City Bonfires S'mores kits. They worked beautifully. An unexpected treat on a 16th floor balcony. I'm glad I ordered the five pack because I know they will continue to provide a great study break throughout the year.

I was pleasantly surprised on how well this works! This provides a nice cozy fire, not just a candle like what you'd expect from the way it looks. I just took it out on my apartment balcony and lit the briquettes in the tin, and away we go!

Works very well and provides a great ambiance! It’s been breezy while using and it doesn’t blow out. Marshmallows cook with it, but it’s definitely not the same as a “real” fire with coals, but it does the trick! Love that I don’t smell like smoke afterwards. Such a cool little bonfire. Not sure if it was meant for indoor use. We quickly moved it outside. The flames are quite substantial and it throws heat like a real little fire pit. Highly recommend. Fun for everyone!

Nice product for limited space or use on a table top. Lights easy and gets pretty hot. Easy to extinguish by sliding the lid over the flame. My order was already in the mail the same day I ordered it—great job getting it to me fast! The only thing that would make this better is if it actually had a real campfire/smoke smell to it; it smells like the wax used even when burning.

We had a great time with our new bonfire. We live in DC and it was perfect for our small back porch. Be sure to have a safe plate underneath. We used our grill basket and a trivet. Perfect for some smores and fun. The fire was significant and we are excited to use it again this Fall.

This was perfect. I have 2 young kiddos and they were begging for smores. It’s a lot of work for me to put together a fire pit and get it going - considering they inevitably lose interest immediately after marshmallows are done. I love my City Bonfires! As a veteran carglamper of 20+ years, I love a campfire (who doesn't), but I don't necessarily love the work and clean-up or the smell of smoke all over me and everything else afterward. City Bonfires give me the ease and ambience and peaceful enjoyment of a bonfire without any of the hassle. Plus, I just really enjoy their ethic as a business. Love this! Really good, strong flame. Fun way to have a little bonfire without having a pit. Definitely follow the instructions, and hold your marshmallow to the side of the flame, not directly over it or it will get black residue.

Took a group of 11 people to the mountains in San Diego for an overnight backing trip through the Sierra Club. We often make our own "buddy burners" but I saw this ad for City Bonfires so took a chance and bought two. This was our first time using it so it was a gamble that paid off.
