The roasting sticks are certainly handy, but not necessary. Once you use the wooden end, you just have to replace with a new skewer like you would use to grill veggies, etc.

I've purchased city bonfires twice. We love having the option of our own little fire in the city. Other than making sure to use a very heat resistant trivet (because the can gets hot!!!), it's really easy and so enjoyable. I will be a repeat purchaser for sure. I love my City Bonfires!! They are perfect for s'mores with small kiddos. Easy to extinguish and no clean up when it's all done! I bought the 5 pack so I won't ever run out. It says 3-5 hours burn time but I'm able to use it for 2 or 3 evenings before it's all burned out.
