Got an XL for my 1 year old terrier/mix (probably about 45lbs, she hasn't been weighed in awhile). Fits fine on top and legs, she is a chesty girl. The belly is way too big but she is skinny and possibly still growing. The hood is too small to pull over her head but I consider it more aesthetic than function. Super cute! I have a red flannel shirt so we get to match when we go on trails. Has a chemical smell but goes away with a wash.

I ordered this in size L for my Teddy's birthday. I was a bit concerned it might be too big but the medium measurement was going to be snug in the chest. He is a Bichon Frise' and weighs 24 lb.
