Qualifier- For me, the purpose of buying this bag was strictly to transport my dog as carry-on in cabin on a plane. I have no intention to use this as a regular crate for daily or frequent use. I used this carrier to bring my 9 weeks old Whippet puppy in cabin from Europe to the US. We had absolutely no problems bringing our dog on the plane with us (Lufthansa and United). Our puppy liked to be in the bag and slept through most of the flight (10hrs). Front and top zipper entrances are very well designed and sturdy. I looked at several backpacks and I’m glad I settled on this one! As far as comfort goes 10/10 my kitten really seems to like the fuzzy side of the bottom panel (you can flip it and it’s the smooth material like on the outside). As the seller recommended, I let the mattress air out a few days and fluffed it up several times before putting it into the cover. The cover zips up the length and one side, so it was simple to do. My dog took to it immediately! He's an old fella and has quite a bit of arthritis, so it was important to buy a bed he could easily get on and off. I bought the medium size, so there's plenty of room for him.

The features and quality of this dog coat are way beyond what I was anticipating. The stitching is top notch. The fabric is lightweight, but wind proof and warm. They come with peel and stick felt pads for the stairs - at first I thought they were extremely cheap and would peel off in no time, but they're still going strong. I used treats to train my puppy to go up and down the stairs, and she had it down in 15 minutes flat. The first couple of times of going down off the bed to the first step, she was hesitant, but once I helped her and she understood, she did it with ease and is flying up and down the stairs now. I have three dogs, 10 lb. Havanese, 10 lb. Chihuahua mix, and a 20 lb. French Bulldog. They have 3 sets of these steps. This is the ONLY type they will use. He loves it! Blu loves his Blu plaid hoodie. It is a bit long as you can see in the pics, but his tail is always sticking up so that will keep the extra part away from his butt.
