I haven’t actually used the cutouts yet because I have to put a heat shield on the frame rail to protect the fuel pump. I can say that it is quality equipment. My only disappointment so far is the box said made in China

I love the mechanical features of the electric exhaust cutoff. Its sick how quick the remote buttons function when you open and close the valve to the exhaust.
I haven’t installed them on my car yet, because I need to save up money to take the exhaust to the shop to get them working.

I added SS short turn downs to the ends of SPELAB cutouts, to create a finished look - that not many people will see! The turn downs force the exhaust to flow toward the ground. The attached picture was taken during the install - all 2.5" S/S with x pipe - see how the exhaust exits straight out of the x pipe through to the cutouts. We had to modify the turn down's as their bolt pattern was misaligned with the SPELAB flanges...once modified everything fit and leaves for a clean look. The so...

Excellent baffles for catching impurities like lead, copper etc. Almost uses a whir (sec) way like seperating gold.
With the cost of solvents going up AND the effects of volatile petrochemicals on the enviroment; it is good to save what you can.

I purchase these exhaust bands to temporarily install the cutouts until I decided whether or not I liked them, and then weld them after. They worked so good that I left them on without welding them in case I decide to sell my vehicle and then remove them without having to chop up my exhaust. Thank You Spelab for another fine product. If you would have swedged out the ends to a 2 1/2 " ID. I could have slipped them over my existing 2 1/2" OD. pipes & welded them on instead of adapters or butt welding. But ok

Great kit. My installer said it was easy to install. It allows the ground clearance to stay the same. The sound is very throaty and perfect. I will say I am in Chicago so in areas where it can be cold, if it does get colder than freezing in can temporarily freeze the kit open or closed. Not that isn't bad if it's froze open. Lol.
