Seems to actually work! Very quiet operation and it caught a couple of mosquitos on the first day of using it. I've purchased other products in the past that promised to catch bugs but never did. My kids appreciate it!

We got this to help with fruit flies in our house and it has been working wonderfully! Unlike other options we have tried it has been very quiet to the point that I don't even realize it's on. I like that it really worked. I used both inside a grow tent and in an open room. Works best at night with a dark room. Gnats are attracted to the blue light and inside they go and get stuck to the sticky paper. Definitely recommend.

UPDATE: I stated I'd update if it worked. I've had this unit on for about a week, and the fruit fly cloud has substantially lessened. There are a few holdouts. But I'm a lot happier now than I was. Making sure the room was darkened helped. I have a TV and a light in this room. But the bathroom of that room gets the most incredible light. So I shut the bathroom door more frequently. Then the gnats/fruit flies disappeared. Now I'm very happy with the product.

I live near a lake and always get mosquitoes and no matter how hard I try to keep them out of my house they somehow get in and I get bit up with several bites every night. BUT since buying this, I haven't got bitten in my house at all. Every time I look to see if it caught any bugs, it has more and more each night. The instructions do say it works best in the dark, so if you're not catching a lot that might be the issue. We have seen a drastic reduction in the amount of gnats in the house! It's so nice to find something that does what it says it will do. If you want to catch fruit flies, put some apple cider vinegar near the trap. It's crazy how drawn they are to the stuff! The trap will handle the rest. In a few days, the trap will be filled with all the bugs.

Had a bunch of mosquitoes trapped in the house, set this up, next morning almost all the mosquitoes were gone. It does have a very low hum from the fan which pulls mosquitoes in. Also, the UV light does actually put out a blue light.
