All I could do was HOPE that this thing worked after trying home remedies to get rid of RELENTLESS fruit flies and gnats.
The manual said to plug it in and give it up to 12 hours to work, but within 2 hours it had caught 3 flies! It’s caught many more since and I sent information about it to my mom and sisters to recommend it!

When I bought this, I wasn't sure if it would work, but it attracts every bug we've ever had in our house and also makes a nice night light in our living room. I just bought another plug-in and two sets of replacement traps. I think one unit per floor is enough for our smaller split-level home, which is pretty impressive since you just plug it in and let it shine.

It looks like this thing works. Two traps were sent to me. They have a bright fluorescent light that bugs like to fly to. When I checked them again after a few hours, sure enough, a few bugs were stuck. This took place during the day. I'm excited to check them in the morning, when the house lights are off and only the light traps are on.

This is a must-have! Highly recommended for lakefront homes or those with pools! Ideal for baby's/kids' rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, or really any room. Living by a lake, we constantly deal with gnats, fruit flies, and this summer, house flies. The only way these devices won't catch anything is if 1. There are no flies, 2. The plastic cover on the adhesive wasn't removed, or 3. The review was written too soon.

I bought this item because I had a problem with fruit flies in my kitchen. After setting it up and putting apple cider vinegar in a small water bottle cap in the bottom of the trap, it was turned on and left running overnight. It had already caught a dozen or so of these pesky bugs by morning. I've tried bug zappers, but this trap works better. I think this is a good way to catch fruit flies. We had the Wall unit plugged in for 10 minutes and trapped the first fly; after 4 days the strip was full. We put the 2nd strip in and it was full after 24 hrs (we hosted an outdoor event and there was lots of traffic coming in and out of the house...and flies!). This product works EXACTLY as it says it does: flies are drawn to the light! We are very happy with the purchase and will pick up additional units to place near every door that opens to the outside...plus additional glue strips!

I have to admit...I was skeptical... But it DOES WORK! Both tiny and large bugs are attracted to the little blue lights and then they get sucked into the pit and apparently do not know how to get out? I found gnats, mosquitos and even a big ol’ housefly in there. I've been using it for a week and keeping it on 24 hours per the seller's advice. It works; I sweep up 10-12 mosquitos every morning. Unless you have a lot of mosquitos, it will take a few days to see a difference. The vendor is beneficial.

Excellent product! There had been a bad mosquito issue in Los Angeles this year. No matter what we do these little things get into the office. I put this trap in my house the day I got it. I like that it really worked. I used both inside a grow tent and in an open room. Works best at night with a dark room. Gnats are attracted to the blue light and inside they go and get stuck to the sticky paper. Definitely recommend.
