Take the long sleeve shirt and make the short sleeve equal quality - YES PLEASE! Others would roll up the muscles of my oldest who benches 455 lbs. or hang and flap on my incredibly thin 16 year old. Yet this shirt looks as professional as the long sleeve version on both. He would like these just a little looser, especially at the calf and ankle. They are very well made with fabric that has good stretch. Size not correct in neck and sleeve length but if you go by the general size that you wear it’s correct. My husband normally wears a 16 neck and 34-35 sleeve but in your sizing measurements he would wear a large but it was too small. He does normally buy an extra large in general sizes and the XL fit correctly

The shirt fits perfect. I need a 17” neck. The 33”/34” sleeves are the correct length. Off the rack Large shirts fit okay as sport shirts but they are usually 16 1/2”, 32”/33” which is too tight for a tie and too short in the sleeves for wearing with a jacket.
