I trapped approximately 200 yards from the ranch house for the initial setup due to hog damage to the grounds around the house. Baited for two weeks. It is performing better than wet could have imagined. We have caught 55 hogs since mid February (46 in the same location). I was skeptical, but decided to try it. It took a couple of weeks to get the first batch of pigs conditioned to the trap. I set it on a Friday afternoon with 4 bags of corn inside. It works was designed. Locate pig core areas, bait them, slowly lower net, set trap. Extended baiting time as trapping was gonna have a short window of trap checking once set. Set one night, next morning caught them sounder. We have fed 46 pig lead all during hunting season. Trapped nine in one cast of the net. Due to adverse weather and demands of scheduling it took a bit longer than anticipated to actually get the trap set. After nearly two weeks of hit and miss opportunities, I set the trap yesterday.
