I do not have big ankles but I do not find them non binding. That was the disappointing thing about them and they are a bit to heavy. I think that is what makes them binding. Thank you for asking. I would not order them again or recommend them.

These socks are very well made and soft. I have neuropathy and very swollen feet. Even though I bought a larger size this time, the socks were uncomfortable because they were too tight on my feet. I was awake until I took them off at night. They would probably be great Sox’s for someone who does not have my health issue.
