I chose this pendant because it similar or exact to the pendants that were given to my fellow senior postulants at their acceptance ceremonies when I was a postulant of the Capuchin Franciscans twelve years ago. I'll be using this alternately with my wooden pendant given to me when I was a postulant of the Capuchins upon my return to Franciscan family through the Third Order Secular. A metal pendant is far more suitable in rainy weather outdoors compared to a wooden pendant.
