I got this one on a whim. I love vanilla based scents, but couldn't quite wrap my brain around how all the elements in this one would go together. I LOVE it! On me, it starts out citrusy, fresh, and crisp, spicey and then fades down to a bright not sugary vanilla with the wood as a very subtle base note. I will be getting a larger size of this one.

Heavy heart started out with the chocolate...then minutes later it completely changed with my body chemistry. After around 20 minutes or more it smelled of beautiful strawberries surrounded by flowers! It's amazing how your body's chemistry works! But, I absolutely love it! This is the first fragrance I've ever bought myself. I'm not really a perfume person because so often they're too floral or sweet smelling to appeal to my tastes. But Bog Witch is something else. It's like putting my beloved mossy PNW backyard in a bottle, including the swampy pond full of newts. I mean that in the best way possible. Earthy, peaty, musky, fresh rain kind of scent. This isn't a particularly strong scent but it is so cozy and comforting. Exactly like curling up with a hot cup of tea and a good book next to your favorite person in the world. On me, it's faintly floral but mostly just clean and fresh. One of my favorite scents ever. Will definitely buy again.
