I like the portrait because I think the center of the shroud of Turin, not the edges, which were added after the much later fire which had damaged it, was from the era of Jesus. The test material to ascertain it’s age were taken from the newer edges. And the portrait is a representation of the face on the shroud. I think the portrait is somewhat elongated but overall quite beautiful. Have no real complaints.
